Here’s what to expect when you hire us to cleanup a sewage backup.
Day of Emergency Response:
1. Our professional and certified team will respond quickly to minimize additional damage.
2. We use advanced equipment to achieve a thorough extraction of wet floors.
3. Following extraction, our team will remove and properly dispose of all contaminated materials.
4. Our team will then pressure wash and re-extract th affected hard surface areas.
5. The application of a disinfectant will follow to control odors and prevent the growth of harmful bacteria.
4. We will then document the extent and nature of the water damage. We will consider the types of materials affected, the amount of damage that has occurred, any pre-existing conditions, and identify any potential complications.
1st Return Trip
a) Our first return trip will be to monitor and assess the drying process. We will find answers to “How wet is it?” and “Is it drying?”
b) We will then adjust the equipment to ensure optimal drying performance.
2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. Return Trips
a) Once again we will assess the drying process and find new answers to the questions of “How wet is it?” and “Is it drying?”
b) Equipment will be adjusted or removed based on how well materials are drying.
c) This process will continue until all wet building materials have been sufficiently dried and the equipment is removed.
Restoration
Step 1 - Once everything has been successfully dried, a restoration estimate will be prepared.
Step 2 – Based on the estimate built in step one, build materials such as framing, insulation, and drywall will be replaced first.
Step 3 – Finish materials such as cabinetry, trim, flooring, and painting will be done last.
Step 4 – When the restoration work is nearly complete, we will do a general clean of the affected areas which may including items such as carpet cleaning and dusting.
