Water Damage Can Be Repaired
Whether it’s a small leak or a full-out flood, we have the skill, experience, certifications, and equipment to fix it right the first time every time!
Here’s a few important items to remember when your dealing with water damage
1. Water damage to your personal belongings and property will continue to occur until it is extracted and the drying process has begun. The quicker you call us, the quicker we can get to you and prevent additional damage.
2. It is not necessary to contact your insurance provider for approval before calling us to help you with your water damage. We work directly with all insurance companies and will help walk you through the process step-by-step.
3. Most water damage losses caused by indoor plumbing fixture breaks will be covered by your insurance provider.
4. It is critical that you hire a company that is reputable and that has credentials and the experience to back them up, not just a handyman or carpet cleaner. You could risk more damage, mold, and lose more money by using someone that’s not certified. We are a Better Business Bureau accredited business with nearly 30 years experience. We are an IICRC trained and certified firm, with unmatched technology and equipment. There’s no question about it, if you want it done right the first time, give us a call.
5. Mold can begin to grow 48 hours after the water damage occurred. Most building materials will literally require weeks to dry out on their own. It will be cheaper for you to hire us to dry things out before mold grows than to wait and end up having to pay for a mold mitigation instead.
Here’s what to expect as we help you recover from your water loss.
Day of Emergency Response:
1. Our professional and certified team will respond quickly to minimize additional damage.
2. We use advanced equipment to achieve a deep extraction of wet floors. This equipment is so advanced that it allows us to save your floor coverings and dry them in place! This saves time, money, and prevents a nasty mess and unnecessary waste.
3. Following extraction, our team will place drying equipment to jump start the drying process.
4. We will then document the extent and nature of the water damage. We will consider the types of materials affected, the amount of damage that has occurred, any pre-existing conditions, and identify any potential complications.
1st Return Trip
a) Our first return trip will be to monitor and assess the drying process. We will find answers to “How wet is it?” and “Is it drying?”
b) We will then adjust the equipment to ensure optimal drying performance.
c) If any building materials are damaged beyond repair, we will remove and dispose of these materials.
2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. Return Trips
a) Once again we will assess the drying process and find new answers to the questions of “How wet is it?” and “Is it drying?”
b) Equipment will be adjusted or removed based on how well materials are drying.
c) This process will continue until all wet building materials have been sufficiently dried and the equipment is removed.
Restoration
Step 1 - Once everything has been successfully dried, a restoration estimate will be prepared.
Step 2 – Based on the estimate built in step one, build materials such as framing, insulation, and drywall will be replaced.
Step 3 – Finish materials such as cabinetry, trim, flooring, and painting will be done last.
Step 4 – When the restoration work is nearly complete, we will do a general clean of the affected areas which may including items such as carpet cleaning and dusting.
Step 5 – Smile with satisfaction and enjoy your newly restored property.
Give us a call right away and we’ll give you the peace of mind you’re looking for.
